It connects history and present and sheds light on issues we are sometimes hesitant to discuss. It seeks to unite Minnesotans as well as educate them and engage them in a discussion that is as relevant today as it was during the Civil Rights Movement.

It will educate the people of St. Paul as well as all Minnesotans on the rich civil rights history and culture of Minnesota. It will unit all Minnesotans under a common struggle for rights, and engage them in a conversation about how this struggle still exists for certain groups today and what we can do to ensure these rights moving forward.

Why do you think people will recognize or remember your idea after it comes to life? How might it inspire others to do something similar in their community? (4000 characters maximum or approx. 500 words)
It will raise awareness about current issues and inspire community members to engage in political and legal discussion to ensure equal rights for all. It will inspire a sense of justice and unity among community members and motivate them to be active in the current civil rights issues.
