Summary:

Introduce and engage youth in international sports by promoting sports popular among minority groups in Minnesota (ex: cricket, rugby, badminton, soccer, etc.). The sports program can promote both indoor and outdoor sports, so youth can engage all year around. This diverse approach to sports will engage difference ethnic groups in Minnesota and prove Minnesota youth with a verity of sporting activities. It will encourage healthy interactions between parents from diverse backgrounds and children of all ages. It will promote sportsmanship and self-confidence among youth and positive interaction between parents from all segments of the community.

Introduce and engage youth in international sports by promoting sports popular among minority groups in Minnesota (ex: cricket, rugby, badminton, soccer, etc.). The sports program can promote both indoor and outdoor sports, so youth can engage all year around. It is promoting cultural diversity within sports as a key for uniting the community and engaging people from different cultures who would not traditionally engage in traditional American sports. It is also a great opportunity to offer Minnesota youth a verity of sports they would not otherwise be exposed to. Ultimately, the event would promote inclusion and diversity and enhance the athletic culture of our state.

It will bring community members together and engage community members who do not traditionally engage in a positive and fun atmosphere. It would promote athleticism and sportsmanship to youth in diverse and traditional communities through new and exciting sports. Encouraging diverse and traditional communities to partner together in a playful environment will enhance communication and form lasting relationships among community members from all backgrounds.

Forming friendships between parents from diverse cultures, between children from diverse cultures, and between parents and children, through sporting events creates personal, positive, and lasting connections that resonate in the memories of all participants. It will encourage future partnerships and interactions between community members and build trust in the community between all groups.
