Summary:

The people that make up St Paul are the assets that make up the many stories and messages that could be shared with the public in a space that could be dedicated to being a space that has a stage and legal kitchen that all the groups could use to both educate, fundraise, share stories and come together in dialogues that could make St Paul a destination city. Celebrating the characteristics of the communities the variety of groups that could share and benefit in this kind of space, it would also allow for a location to highlight cultural arts, it could be open to many cultures at various time. The Re- element is to encourage us to use the spaces together, to share in knowing the importance of re educating ourselves about our neighbors and to look at ways to reuse products. It could also be a place to have items that can be reused to be brought together and shared for the benefit of the whole community.
The artists could use it as a destination to come together to share and sell their wares on a regular basis, like a farmers market but also as a means of bringing people together.

What makes your idea different or unexpected? (4000 characters maximum or approx. 500 words)

My idea is designed to include all cultures and peoples in St Paul to encourage them to come together to create an educational and entertaining program that will build appreciation for the beauty of the People of St Paul.

This Entry is about (Issues)

How will your idea make a difference in Saint Paul? (4000 characters maximum or approx. 500 words)

This idea could employ a variety of people at different levels while supporting the arts, culture, reuse of materials, and the recognition of being able to work together in a space dedicated to encouraging people to do just that. Like the old CC halls my grandparents use to talk about...a place to come together.

Why do you think people will recognize or remember your idea after it comes to life? How might it inspire others to do something similar in their community? (4000 characters maximum or approx. 500 words)

Currently to use a hall and kitchen and bring together folks requires many more resources than most communities have available. An affordable fee scale could be created on a cooperative model that could make the space affordable to everyone. It would be maintained by those fees.
