This group is related to the
Challenge I: Ideas for Addressing Obesity in Minnesota competition.

New fad diets and competing research findings can make it hard to understand which food is the smartest choice. Join this group to discuss, share, and learn ways Minnesotans can eat better throughout their day.

This group is moderated by Joel Spoonheim, a leader in community change who has worked for city governments, a food manufacturer, and non-profits as a leader of major initiatives that require engaging diverse stakeholders and complex problem solving.  In 2009, he led the AARP Blue Zones Vitality Project in Albert Lea, Minnesota which engaged thousands of citizens in improving the health of the community.
