River Front Multicultural Market
Summary:
River Front Multicultural Market
There are plenty of places to be seen, heard, served and recognized, but one place in particular need to be highlighted when upon our Great Capitol City of Saint Paul. That place is the downtown areas overlooking the bluff by the Mighty Mother River Mississippi; and, in my personal opinion, there will be no other ways to bring people there than foods and entertainment.
The mission of the River Front Multicultural Market is to simply bring people to the downtown areas to enjoy, be entertained and appreciate the beautiful and accessible amenities our Capitol City has to offer.
The multicultural market will be set alongside Kellogg Boulevard between Wabasha and Robert Street during off business hours once a week or weeknight for such festivity. Traffic across the river on Robert Street will stay open, but traffic over the bridge on Wabasha will be blocked off from Plato to Kellogg Boulevard for access to Harriet Island for walkers, bikers, horse carriage riders and/or tractor drawn wagon riders.
Businesses in the food, merchandises, art and crafts and artists will be invited to present their ideas and products that support the mission and goal of the event for the designed period of time of a day of up to the whole season as outdoor weather permits.
All of the food vendors will be set alongside the Kellogg Boulevard between Wabasha and Robert Street whereas the merchandises, art and crafts and artistic expressions will be stage on the Harriet Island’s.
Discount will be provided for walkers, bikers, bus and light rail riders. An individual, family and/or a group of people who have in possession an actual proof of receipt (s) showing that s/he and/or they spent money in one of the downtown business on the day of the event will get a free ride to the Harriet Island by either a horse carriage and/or other form of fun and non-gasoline powered engine rides to and from the island.

First choice of organization to serve as fiscal agent for this prize is the Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce. Through the Commerce each night there will be a small portion allocated as well as solicited and/or donated dollars to be given to an incorporated 501 (c) (3) veteran organization within the State of Minnesota and all of Wisconsin Counties right along the Saint Croix River all of the way to Lake Superior provided that the individual organization registered and provide volunteers in volunteering for at least one event during or prior to the event. Thus such organization are encouraged to register and volunteer with the planning and set up of the event.
