This group is moderated by Steven Clift, a pioneer in digital engagement who created the world's first election information website in 1994. Today he leads E-Democracy.org as their Executive Director. Based in Minneapolis, he has presented on online citizen participation and open government across 26 countries. As an Ashoka Fellow he is supporting the "Issues Forum" model across 15 communities and hosts an online engagement project in the Standish Ericsson neighborhood where he lives.
