Bring block parties back. There used to be a time when neighborhoods would get together (most times in a park), have concerts, barbecue, and have everyone playing and talking together. You can also have a raffle and things like that. I did one at Fannon Park in North Minneapolis after the tornado hit and it was a major success. It was amazing how people came together.
