Summary:

The All Nation's Peace Garden- Is a testament to the virtues of the Golden Rule. It would be an icon that celebrates mankind as Good Stewards of the earth. It is a healing space-a caring place where we exhibit the need for compassion, peace, and humankind. It transcends boundaries and artificial borders.
Interfaith, intergenerational members of all races, creeds, and colors gather to create a tapestry of love and a continuum of care that begins with preparing the garden space, planting the seeds in the garden space, weeding ,maintaining and harvesting the garden space, preparing and processing the food from the garden space, serving the food from the garden space.
As veterans return from Iran and Afghanistan we welcome them to rejoin their families and the community at large by joining us in the garden. It is a place for healing the fissures and tears in our moral and social fiber. It is not only the plants who are the recipients of our community largesse. Youth, families, the rich and the poor, black, white, yellow, red, and brown all benefit. All are welcome. The garden is the antidote to hate.
Already interested- Oasis of Love, Jordan New life, Finnegan’s Beer, Seed Academy, UROC, University of Mn-horticulture, Univ. of Mn-Master Garden Program, St Olaf Church in this year's initiative entitled Operation Seed and Feed. Last year was the pilot year of Project Sweetie Pie we had over fifty partners, implemented 5 garden sites, and worked with over 500 youth and their families.
