Rudy Maxa, a former Washington Post investigative reporter and columnist, is host of an award-winning, 91-episode series of shows ("Rudy Maxa's World") that feature the world's great destinations. The shows are broadcast on public television stations nationwide and on Travel Channel International in 121 countries in 22 different languages.
He also hosts the country's most widely syndicated radio travel show by the same name. The two-hour weekend show airs on 155+ news/talk stations and XM Radio. Maxa is an award-winning contributing editor with National Geographic Traveler magazine and writes extensively for magazines around the world on the subject of travel.
He lives in St., Paul and is the father of a son and daughter.
