Jennifer is the President and co-founder of bswing, a Minneapolis-based firm that helps organizations define and create their tomorrow. By combining deep understanding of consumer needs with design that inspires and engages, we help clients attract, engage, and inspire customers.
bswing’s public interest work includes research and design assignments including TGStudy and All Gender Health, a National Institutes of Health funded study on HIV risk within transgender populations that was the first of its kind; a demonstration project funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce called Focus on Ability that seeks to assist disabled job seekers find greater success working with the Workforce Centers throughout the State of Minnesota; The Givens Foundation for African-American Literature; SoundLearning, a service of American Public Media making audio content available to schools, and a wide range of public organizations.
Other ground-breaking work including the first non-partisan electoral information web site (Web White & Blue) sponsored by the Markle Foundation, The Shorenstein Center on Politics and the Press at Harvard University; and the web site for the McKnight Foundation, the largest foundation in the state of Minnesota.
Jennifer is a Director at the Bush Foundation. She has served on Boards of Directors at the University of Minnesota Foundation and the Girl Scout Council of Greater Minneapolis. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Jennifer is also a member of the advisory board for the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association. Jennifer was named by the Small Business Administration as Minnesota’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000.
