I have worked in Saint Paul Schools for over twenty years as a social worker and supervisor. For the last twelve years I have overseen the homeless education program providing educational services to these children and their families. In the last year, I implemented the Fostering Connections program which offers educational support to students in foster care. I am committed to giving both groups of these students access to an education and offer them stability to assist them on their path to graduation. I have recently been recognized for a national award for my work by NAFEPA and also by NAEHCY, both national associations which focus on serving students in federal programs. I am very familiar with resouces for families in Saint Paul. One of my other interests is using data to drive programming and have worked extensively with computer programmers.
