Bo Thao-Urabe grew up on the East Side of St. Paul having come to the US a refugee child with her family. Today, she provides leadership to build social justice funds that build community capacity to fully participate in democracy. Bo has extensive community building and leadership experience. She has served as executive director of local and national nonprofits. Bo co-founded Hmong Women Achieving Together, Building More Philanthropy with Purpose Giving Circle, and Sisterhood, a non-governmental organization in Laos.
