I have been a researcher of primary care and integrative care for over ten years. My focus has been on answering the question "If we were going to rebuild healthcare from the ground up how would we accomplish this task?" I have traveled to Canada, India, Europe to see how healthcare is applied around the world. Focus was placed on the distinct needs, here in the US as well as around the world, in the area of primary care. In 2008 Everspring Health, a healthcare cooperative, was founded to test our model, refine our understanding and provide proof of concept. Now 3 years after opening our doors we have proof of concept and we know what is necessary to revolutionize primary care for the modern needs and modern lifestyle. With our model price comes down, patients engage in their own health and outcomes improve.
