Michele D. Hanson Michele Hanson is the Central Region Planner with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. For the past five years she has worked to make connections between local partners resource planning and management and DNR resource and recreational program initiatives within the region. Michele serves as a liaison for regional partners to connect them with available technical assistance. She also works directly with partners to help coordinate the development of collaborative projects focused on protecting and enhancing economic, social, and ecological resources. Working in partnership ensures that the health of the region’s resources are protected for the enjoyment of our citizens and for future generations. Michele graduated from the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota with a Master of Landscape Architecture.
